THE BRITISH RED CROSS COMMEMORATES THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE                DISAPPEARED The British Red Cross will this year mark the International Day of the Disappeared (30/08/08) with a series of events and exhibitions held across the country. The day is a reminder that hundreds of thousands of families are still unaware of the fate of their loved ones missing in conflicts.
